Can't Install, Can't Uninstall either

Hi there,
Just upgraded to 9.0 internet security, from the free 8.0 version, due to a pop up window from AVG saying they no longer will update free programs, and the same time, the avg window shows "no components installed".
When i upgraded and installed first time, i saw the same "no components installed" and the update didnt work either, so i thought it was not installed properly.
So i attempted reinstallation , i got this error message
ERROR MESSAGES

Error: Action failed for file AVGIDSAgent.exe: stopping service....
The requested control is not valid for this service.

I tried to uninstall then, got this message

Rollback:
Warning: Action failed for file avgfwfd.inf: file unregistration rollback....
AVG Firewall NDIS driver installation failed.
Error 0x80070002: NDIS installation FAILED, restart needed.

I also have difficulty in deleting the existing files, both old and new, from my computer.

So basically i am stumped. Appreciate if you can help me here.

Un-install using the AVG Removal Tool:

http://www.avg.com/us-en/download-tools

Reboot, then download the latest version and re-install.

I have basically the same issue although I am not able to download anything at all. So I cannot install the AVG Remover.

Reboot, then download the latest version and re-install.

Downloaded and ran as local admin. During execution CMD window stated could not un-install agent without utility.

What utility and were can I download. Also Install failed due to permission of a user that is no longer on the AD. Any ideas?

I'm not sure what it's referencing - I'd contact AVG support.
