Allow for safe

I've been using firefox as my browser for a long time and AVG for almost a year. All that time, I'd occasionally get a popup box that asked me if I wanted to allow a link to display and it offered "allow for safe" as an option, which I always clicked. There was a box that I could check which said something like "do this everytime and don't ask again". I finally checked it, and now I can't get to any of my firefox links. How can I find that popup and uncheck the box??
