Postby Struggler » Mon Nov 28, 2011 11:21 am

There are a lot of advanced settings. can't I just leave everthing at the default level or is that not safe? Thanks

Defaults are pretty reliable in AVG 2012.

AVG 2012 (any version) is a Great Program. I love it and I encourage others to buy it or at least use the FREE version.

I've never had any problem Installing AVG on any system, , till now. I'm testing Windows 8 Developers Preview and I cannot
get either the paid or free versions of AVG 2012 to install. It just gets so far along and then logs one of those non-specific errors
and backs out.

I just hope, that by the time Win-8 is ready for public sale, that AVG will be compatible. Eh?

I'm sure it will be - AVG has always been fully compatible with the formal release of each new version of Windows.

Hello,

Regarding Windows 8 and AVG 2012, At this time our developers are working on a fix but a work around is to do a custom install of AVG and remove the IDP(Identity Protection) component.

Let me know if you are not able to install, I will work with you.
